| Nowadays, secondary vocational education has achieved a historic breakthrough in China, under the avocation of developing vocational education vigorously by the government. The amount of secondary vocational school has reached more than thirteen thousand; meanwhile the number of secondary vocational school students has reached more than twenty million yet. Secondary vocational school students consist of an important part of minors in our country, who are also the important sources of the industrial army in our country. Their ideological and moral condition is directly related to the overall quality of its workforce, and closely related to our country and nation’s future. However, there are some problems in secondary vocational education due to some social prejudice. For example, moral education in secondary vocational school is one of the important factors restricting the development of secondary vocational schools. Therefore, in order to make secondary vocational education develop healthily, it is the first major task to solve the problems about the ideological and moral education of the secondary vocational school students currently. At present, secondary vocational school problems are featured with ideological and moral education concepts backward, old content, method, stereotypes, lack of moral education teachers, lack of moral education activities closely to life. The author of this research has looked into the present moral education situation among10secondary vocational schools in Henan Province, and analyzed the existing problems and its reasons, then put forward to some countermeasures to strengthen and improve moral education in secondary vocational school. The organization of this Article is divided into four parts:the first part, introduction, involves the research background, significance, methods, ideas and research status at home and abroad. The second part, is an overview of the current condition of students’ ideological and moral education in the medium vocational school. The third part, with students in ten secondary vocational schools in Henan Province as subjects in this case study, a questionnaire and an interview about students’ moral education are carried out to finding out the existing problems and causes in depth. The fourth part, some countermeasures on how to strengthen and improve students’ ideological and moral education in secondary vocational school are proposed. |
