With the deepening reform of Chinese language curriculum,people' s understanding of the nature of Chinese textbooks is also changing.Taking the development of students as the core has become the main theme in Chinese textbooks writing process,and the pursuit of 'students as the core' is becoming more and more urgent.The guide terms system,as a part of the textbook,plays an irreplaceable role in the pursuit of“learning”.In this study,“guide terms system" mainly refers to the“editors","unit guide",“text reading tips”these three parts.The guide terms system not only stimulates students' curiosity,but also encourages students to take the initiative to participate in teaching activities.It also provides the necessary information and conditions for students to do self-study,also plays a significant role in implementing the curriculum objectives and clarifying the course content.Although the guide terms system is so important in the language teaching material,it does not get too much attention and research in academic study and teaching practice.The guide terms system did not play its value.Therefore,it is necessary to thoroughly analysis of the guide terms system.Based on this,this study choosed the two most representative teaching materials in the current language teaching material---People's Education Edition and the Jiangsu Education Edition,for the purpose of arousing the attention of teachers and students to the guide terms system,as well summarizing the experience of the two teaching material mentioned above,to perfect the future teaching material writing in guide terms system.This study mainly discussed the summary,the development process,the comparison of the two teaching materials and the suggestion related to guide terms study,the main body is divided into six parts:The preface are the research reasons,the purpose of the study,the significance,the research status etc.This study adopted literature analysis method,comparative analysis method and case study method to analyze the guide terms study of the versions mentioned above,an analysis of worldwide study also been included in this paper.The first part is the in-depth interpretation for the concept of guide terms system,meanwhile constituent elements has been clearly defined.It pointed out that the three main parts are the editor language,unit guide and text guide in this study.The second part mainly discussed the three development process of the guide terms system,from ancient times?modern times to presence three periods.The third part mainly explains the function of the guide terms system.In the five aspects:to implement the objectives of the language curriculum,to clarify the teaching content,to stimulate the study interest,to set the learning goal and to provide the learning method.The fourth part is the main part of this article.This study mainly analyzes these two teaching materials in two categories:editorial language,unit introduction,and textual guidance.The theory in this paper is based on D · P AuSubel's meaningful learning?Jerome Seymour Bruner' s discovery learning?Zhang Biyin' s reading psychology,and analyze in the four aspects such as the content of the structure,the content Composition,language style,editorial intention to compare advantages and disadvantages of the two teaching materials mentioned above.The fifth part is to make suggestions for the shortcomings of the two teaching materials.
