"People's Education Edition" Junior High School Chinese Textbooks Modern Prose Practice Research

The thesis conducts an analysis on the characteristics,types as well as advantages and disadvantages of modern prose exercises in junior middle school Chinese textbooks of people’s education edition.It gives a comparison on the same-titled prose exercises between Ministry of the edition(two volumes of the first and second year of seventh grades)and people’s education edition.It’s found that the prose exercise in Ministry edition is an improvement and innovation compared to that of the human education version.The former is more in line with the real condition of Chinese teaching,providing a reference suggestion for the future optimization of Chinese exercise.The introduction introduces the research reason,the literature review,the research method and the innovation point of this thesis.Athrough analysis on related studies has revealed that there are many researches on the contents and strategies of prose teaching,while a few on modern prose exercise in junior middle school textbooks.The first chapter illustrates that modern prose practice has its own uniqueness,practice pay attention to the significance of the important words and expressions in the language background,and the design of prose appreciation exercise conforms to the stylistic features of prose personalized language,but also is the unique practice of modern prose.In chapter two,the types of modern prose practice in the Chinese textbooks of the junior middle school are divided into six main questions base on Blum‘s six categories of cognitive process dimensions.The training content of the various exercises is rich and colorful.The third chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the prose exercise in the junior middle School Chinese textbook.The advantages are embodied in four aspects: attaching importance to the characteristics of prose sentence,cultivating students ’ language ability,paying attention to the training of students ’ reading ability,promoting language training and accumulation.This four features aim at improving students ’ ability of using language and writing and developing students ’ comprehension ability.Disadvantages are also reflected in four aspects: the level of practice choreography is not clear,part of the exercise does not reflect the uniqueness of modern prose practice,the practice of guiding strategy is insufficient,and open practice is too little.The fourth chapter puts forward the corresponding suggestions for the shortcoming of the modern prose practice of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks: The arrangement form is flexible,the practice needs to embody the uniqueness of the modern prose practice,more appropriate guidance strategy is required,and the right amount of open practice should be increased.In light of the use of prose exercise,teachers should properly make use of it,and students should take a rational attitude toward it.The fifth chapter compares the difference of the modern prose exercise between the People’s Education edition and the Ministry edition(two volumes of the seventh grade),and it’s found that the two edition exercises have a great difference in the content and form of the choreography.The Ministry editing is more suitable for the students ’ thinking level and the cultivation of creative thinking.The exercise of self-reading texts using "Edge exercises and tips,reading tips",turning “teaching materials” to “learning materials",which is beneficial to students ’ autonomous reading.
