Research On The Dilemma And Transition Of Radio And TV University In Western China

Lifelong education and lifelong learning are an international trend and the establishment of lifelong education system constructs one of important foundations of a learning society.Our country pays more and more attention to lifelong education and puts forward the construction of learning society.Radio and TV University,a learning-type society's important force for promoting lifelong learning,has encountered the difficulty and challenge in its development process.Therefore,it's time to reform and transform.At present Radio and TV Universities in most of the provinces and cities have been gradually transformed into the Open Universities,and Radio and TV University in western China are in a critical period of transition to the Open University.First,the paper is based on a survey of some students from G Radio and TV University and B Radio and TV University in G province about learning satisfactions,learning contents,learning requirements and suggestions to Radio and TV universities.In addition,teachers would take interviews.The writer has gathered a good knowledge of Radio and TV University in western China in order to find out the problems in the development process of.Second,through methods of literature and on-the-spot investigation,there are remaining challenges Radio and TV University in western China as a consequence of unclear position,non-oblivious characteristic,lack of independence&autonomy,inadequate funds,less number of students,poor quality,poor teachers and insufficiency of non-academic education seriously,etc..And the causes of the problems are the lack of relevant legal system,the government's less importance,non-standard adult education market and the defective construction of TV university system.Finally,due to the existing issues and attribution analysis,the writer intends to promote the transformation and development of Radio and TV University in western China from the view of the adult education in terms of improving government-led emphasis,establishing laws and regulations,strengthening the top-level design,safeguards the autonomy of schools,perfecting the TV university system,highlighting the characteristics of the Open University,setting up the remote education cloud platform and paying attention to methods of non-academic education function in order to build the lifelong learning platform and promote the construction of a learning society.In the paper,the problems in Radio and TV University in western China caused by internal and external factors have hindered its development.Radio and TV University in western China is now in a critical period of transition and the writer manages to explain how to promote the transformation and development of Radio and TV University in western China from internal and external parties.
