Vocational education is an important part of higher education in China.With the rapid development of society,the importance of vocational education is more and more prominent.However,there are more and more education problems arising from the rapid development of higher vocational and technical education.For example,it only emphasizes the study of technical skills,neglects the study of humanities,pays attention to the study of practical professional knowledge,and neglects humanistic edification,etc.Humanities education is of great significance to the overall development of students in higher vocational colleges.The quality of humanistic education is directly related to whether higher vocational colleges can cultivate the technical and technical talents with sound personality and all-round development for the society.An important part of humanities education is the education of Chinese traditional culture.Nowadays,in the higher vocational and technical education,the education of Chinese traditional culture is extremely lack.The consequence of this development is the imperfection of the students' personality and the lack of the traditional culture.If things go on like this,not only the excellent tradition of Chinese traditional culture is difficult to achieve,but also cultivate all-round development of talent education will become an empty word.Sinology is the quintessence of Chinese traditional culture.In order to better carry out the humanities education in vocational colleges,it must be inseparable from the students of the sinology education.In this paper,it takes the development and implementation of the sinology education in Guangdong Institute of Technology as the research direction,carries out investigation and analysis,and puts forward feasible and practical countermeasures and suggestions.The paper mainly includes four parts:The first part is the introduction.The introduction part mainly raises the question,briefly introduces the necessity of the implementation of sinology education in higher vocational colleges,studies the current situation of sinology at home and abroad,puts forward the theoretical basis and research methods of this subject,and lays the foundation for the later research.The second part is the targeted questionnaires.Through the questionnaire,field interviews,case analysis,it carries out to investigate the current implementation of sinology in higher vocational colleges.The contents of the survey include the composition of the student group,the quality of the students learning sinology,the students' needs of learning sinology,the status of the teachers,the implementation status of teaching sinology,teaching material compiling.We obtain specific and credible data through the investigationThe third part is to analyze the main problems of sinology education in Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology.This paper uses the data from the survey and interviews to carry out the rational sinology education.The main problems include imperfect teaching resources,unreasonable teacher structure,shortage of class periods.All of these are encountered in the process of implementing sinology education.It also includes the students' poor learning base of sinology and the students are not interested in teaching materials and teaching content of sinology in the process of learning sinology.The fourth part puts forward the methods and countermeasures of carrying out sinology education in higher vocational colleges.Based on the analysis of the problems in Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology,this paper puts forward the implementation strategy of sinology education in higher vocational colleges:to implement the innovative content and mode of sinology education in vocational colleges.It constructs the practical and scientific sinology course content system,compiles sinology teaching materials which are suitable for the students of higher vocational education,and constructs high quality and professional sinology teachers.It puts sinology education into the schools campus culture,constructs the various sinology education associations,carries out the training in freshmen education,establish the morning reading education system,carries out the competition and interpretation and other activities of sinology education,give full play to the students' dominant position in sinology education.The problems existing in sinology education in higher vocational colleges are divided into teaching environment factors,teaching resources and teachers' problems.The performance of all aspects are the source of students,the quality of students,the issue of national literacy of students,the learning needs of student groups,teaching staff,teaching material compiling.In view of the problems sinology education in Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology,this paper puts forward the implementation strategy of sinology education in higher vocational colleges:to implement the innovative content and mode of sinology education in vocational colleges.It constructs the practical and scientific sinology course content system,compiles sinology teaching materials which are suitable for the students of higher vocational education,and constructs high quality and professional sinology teachers.It puts sinology education into the schools campus culture,constructs the various sinology education associations,carries out the training in freshmen education,establish the morning reading education system,carries out the competition and interpretation and other activities of sinology education,give full play to the students' dominant position in sinology education.Combined with the concept of humanistic education and general education philosophy,it helps sinology education establish a scientific and rational curriculum content system in higher vocational colleges.The reform and innovation of curriculum content,closely integrated with other cultures can directly guide the development of sinology education in higher vocational colleges in Guangzhou.The effective ways of teachers' resource integration is of reference value to the integration of the resources of sinology education teachers in other higher vocational colleges.Construction of various types of students' associations to learn sinology and these informal organizations provide reference for similar vocational colleges in the functions of enhancing students' identities and groups in sinology education and extending the function of sinology education.
