As a large agricultural country with over 50% of the rural population,it is an urgent task to improve the quality of basic education in rural areas.The key to improve the quality of education lies in the teachers.In the context of the new round of basic education reform,what is the current situation of the professional growth of rural middle school physics teachers? What problems do rural teachers face in their work?What are the factors that affect the professional development of rural middle school physics teachers? What kind of attention and guidance should be paid to the professional development of rural middle school physics teachers? With these problems,the research of this subject is carried out.Firstly,the basic theories of teacher specialty,teacher specialization,teacher professional growth and physics teacher professional growth are defined through literature research.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was designed on the subject of the professional growth status of rural middle school physics teachers.Through the analysis of the collected data,it was found that although the academic qualifications of rural middle school physics teachers were generally up to standard,their professional titles were relatively low.The professional growth of middle school physics teachers is good on the whole,but it still needs to be further strengthened.Middle school physics teachers have a strong sense of professional planning and a low level of motivation.School management system,leadership style,cooperative culture construction and teacher training mechanism are the most important external factors affecting teachers' professional growth.This paper analyzes the factors influencing the professional growth of physics teachers in rural middle schools from two aspects of internal and external factors: social factors,environmental factors,school factors and family factors are the four external factors influencing the professional growth of physics teachers in rural middle schools;The internal factors are mainly reflected in the rural middle school physics teachers' self-development consciousness,self-development ability and self-professional identity.Finally,combined with the case analysis of three "typical" physics teachers,combined with the investigation and analysis of the causes,summed up the effective path of rural middle school physics teachers' professional growth.From the pre-service education,orientation guide,after education,the formation of the integration of teacher professional development path: on-the-job education aspect,before change light weight theory practice education idea,from this specialized subjecteducation,graduate education curriculum and the arrangement of teaching content,professional skills training,education teaching practice,and practice three dimensions for;In terms of induction guidance,it starts from two aspects: career planning and induction training.In the post-service education stage,in view of the "fashionable" standard system of teachers' continuing education in China,a tripartite mechanism of "teachers' continuing education,teachers' lifelong learning and school-based training" has been formed to jointly promote the professional growth of rural teachers.Because of the limitation of conditions,physical education is the weak link of rural basic education.This article through "the countryside middle school physics teacher's professional growth research",promotes their education teaching ability enhancement,thus enhances the countryside elementary education quality,has the very vital significance.
