In recent years, children's anxiety problems have attracted more and more attention.Children who are in a state of anxiety for a long time will not only affect the normal study and life, but also have an impact on children's physical and mental growth.Parenting style is a kind of relatively stable behavior and behavior tendency in the daily life of the parents, and it is the comprehensive reflection of their educational concept and educational behavior.Previous studies have shown that parents' parenting behaviors are significantly related to children's anxiety. There was a significant negative correlation between the anxiety of primary school children and positive parenting styles, such as parental love, supportive behavior and democratic trust. There was a significant positive correlation between the anxiety of primary school children and negative parenting styles, such as severe punishment and excessive protection(Sun,Y.M.& Lu,Y.L.,1998).Therefore,it is of great practical value for the prevention and resolution of children's anxiety to find out the family related factors of children's anxiety and to take targeted family guidance and intervention measures. However, most of the researches on anxiety at home and abroad have focused on a specific anxiety state(such as social anxiety, separation anxiety, test anxiety); The research on children's anxiety and parenting style is more concerned about mother's parenting style, but less about father's parenting style; From the research point of view, most of the related researches are about the anxiety of middle school students and preschool children.Few studies have focused on the anxiety of primary school children. In addition, the research mainly focuses on the urban children, and there are few studies on the anxiety status of rural children.Given the above considerations, this study will investigate the basic characteristics of primary school children's anxiety and parental parenting syles under the background of rural primary school. On this basis, the relationship between parental parenting styles and anxiety of rural primary school children was further investigated. To explore this issue, not only help enhance the understanding about the relationship between family education and rural primary school children's anxiety, but also can provide some scientific basis for promoting children's mental health development of primary school for parents in Chinese rural families with proper upbringing. This study uses cross-sectional study, with the whole sample of 615 primary school students from grade three to grade six
