Due to children's limited ability to regulate their emotions,Any adverse environmental factors and parenting styles may exacerbate children's anxiety.Children's anxiety is the adverse emotional reaction that children maintain and continue for a period of time, such as tension, anxiety and worry. The complexity of family environment reflects the degree of crowding in the living environment, regularity of work, stability of family residence and members, order, organization and planning of family life, etc. This study mainly investigated the influence of parental rearing style on anxiety of primary school children and the moderating effect of family environment factors on parental rearing style and anxiety of primary school children. It is of theoretical significance to study the moderating effect of family diversity on the relationship between parental rearing patterns and anxiety of primary school children, and to combine psychosocial factors with physical environment factors to investigate the cause of anxiety of primary school children in a more comprehensive way, which can also provide guidance for family education. In this study, the Chinese version of the "Simplified Parenting Styles Questionnaire" compiled by Arrindell etc.(1999),translated and revised by a domestic scholar,Jiang jiang, etc, was used to measure parenting styles. The Spence Children's Anxiety Scale,The Chinese version of SCAS)measures children's anxiety status(Zhao xing,Wang,2012);using the Matheny etc.(1995),Shumin Chang,Yushan Song, and Hui Guo(2016)revised family environment confusion scale(Confusion,Hubbub and Order Scale,CHAOS)Using cluster sampling method,425 primary school students of grade 5 and grade 6 in huaiyin district of jinan city were selected for questionnaire survey. The results of the data analysis are as follows;(1)Neither the parental negative parenting style nor the complexity of the family environment differed significantly in gender and grade;the gender difference in the positive parenting style was not significant, but score of the fifth grade parent's positive parenting style was significantly higher than those in the sixth grade. In all dimensions, the total scores of separation anxiety, physical injury fear, social fear, compulsive impulse disorder, generalized anxiety, and anxiety were significantly lower for boys than for girls, but the scores of panic disorder for boys were significantly higher than girls. The total scores of fear of injury, social fear,obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety, and anxiety were significantly lower than those for sixth graders. There was no significant grade difference between separation anxiety and panic disorder.(2)The positive parenting styles were significantly negatively related to the negative parenting styles, family environment complexity, and total anxiety scores;the parental negative parenting styles were significantly positively related to the family environment complexity and total anxiety scores. There is no significant correlation between family environment complexity and total anxiety score.(3)After controlling for gender and grade, parents' positive parenting style significantly negatively predicts pupil anxiety, and parents' negative parenting style significantly predicts pupils' anxiety.(4)After controlling for gender and grade, the complexity of family environment plays a moderating role between parents' positive parenting style and pupils' anxiety. In a less complex environment, parents' positive parenting style can significantly predict primary school students' anxiety, while in a complex environment, parents 'positive parenting mode can not predict the primary school students' anxiety significantly. The complexity of family environment does not regulate the negative parenting style of parents and the anxiety of primary school students.
