In the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic China,the society overall shape evolution.Chinese social transformed gradually from the traditional agricultural country to the civilized Western societies and moral conflicts appeared.Some advanced intellectuals tried to save China by education.They were appealing to strengthen education through an official capacity because of national personality of slave and national human wickedness.So the whole society would pay close attention to the national moral education.The Cultivate Morality Division appeared at the moment.Among social transformation in the late Qing Dynasty,the moral transformation is successful relatively.And it has significance for the shaping of Values.The paper centers cultivate one's morality textbooks and studies cultivate one's morality textbooks from social background,evolution of moral education and self-cultivation by using the Documentary Method and Text Analysis.The paper includes the following several parts:Firstly,from the perspective of the social background in the late Qing Dynasty,this paper introduces the moral transformation at the beginning of the social reality in the late Qing Dynasty.In the face of social death crisis,some advanced intellectuals began to seek the road of saving their nation,the Late Qing government also made some measures to save the decline rule.Firstly the Qing Government tried to use the road of reform to seek their power,however,the failure of reform accelerated the advanced intellectuals of the reflection of the society.And scholars put forward the slogan of 'learning' that the scholars try to saving the nation by education,which caused the Qing Government's emphasis on education reform.The last ten years of the Late Qing Dynasty,the government implemented the New Deal,and promoted the'Renyin education system' and 'Guimao education system',cultivate one's morality gradually into the education track.Secondly,the paper introduces social reality at the earliest days of moral transformation of the late Qing Dynasty by studying the social background.Because of the impact of Western study force,the rule of Qing Dynasty was on the verge of collapse which is full of domestic and foreign challenges.Some advanced intellectuals tried to look for the way of saving the nation and people facing moral crisis of the whole society.And the Qing Government took some steps to save it's decay rule.Thirdly the paper starts with moral thought of Kang You-wei?Liang Qi-chao?CAI Yuan-pei's,and it is bases on the children's reading of the book and the latest slim textbook,and discusses the education purposes embodied the moral education in late Qing dynasty,namely loyalty,Confucianism,Shang Gong.Through grasping the content of morals,filial piety,family country,this part study the thought of moral education in late Qing dynasty.Then the paper starts the social background of early republic of China,and explains civic moral education under the influence of the modern educational system.Through analyzing the content of republic old textbook-cultivate one's moral charter,author shows the change of moral,that is 'subject to ruler'to 'liberty people'.The last part of the paper introduces the change of moral education in primary sc hool.Through series of changes of the military national doctrine education,awakening of people,civil section replace moral section,author introduces the evolution of moral education in primary school,which available to the later study.
