With the continuous development of the information society,people's screening,identification,analysis,processing information literacy requirements continue to improve.In the face of the knowledge and information,and if people don't have enough critical thinking ability,unable to capture the initiative of information choice,it will inevitably lose the direction of progress,and ultimately become a victim of information in the ocean.As a result,critical thinking ability has been paid more and more attention,and even gradually become one of the basic skills necessary for the 21st century,is seen by the international education community as an important ability to develop,just like read and write.The Western countries,represented by the United States,attach great importance to the cultivation of critical thinking ability,which is one of the most important educational goals,and cleverly implement them in the development and implementation of various subject courses.In terms of secondary school history,textbook is an important carrier of history curriculum implementation,it is a tool for teachers' teaching and education,and it is an important resource for students to learn history.American history textbooks not only fully consider the content of the arrangement,more importantly,the critical thinking ability to cultivate the orderly and content of the fit,so as to promote the history of textbooks to the "school" a key step.The McGraw-Hill edition of "World History",which is widely influenced by the current US market,takes full advantage of the textbook system and the text aiding system to fully penetrate critical thinking.This approach not only helps us to understand how to train and cultivate students' critical thinking ability through the instrumental and carrier of textbooks,and to show the unique advantages of historical disciplines in the cultivation of critical thinking ability,and to be able to formulate for the perfection of history textbooks compiling system in China and the improvement of teaching quality of middle school history education,in order to provide the valuable reference.In order to elaborate the problem,this paper,based on the collection of relevant literature,adopts the text analysis method and the comparative research method,mainly along with this idea:The first part mainly explains the purpose and significance of the study,the current situation of foreign research and the research methods used in the paper.The second part starts with the guiding ideology of the textbook,that is,the American history curriculum national curriculum standard and the state curriculum standard,respectively,from the national and state two levels of historical curriculum standards to explore the critical thinking ability to cultivate the relevant provisions of the target.The third part,taking McGraw-Hill's "World History" as an example,this paper uses text analysis to analyze critical thinking ability from the aspects of its structure,content,characteristic columns,historical materials,problems and job settings.Full penetration,and Prentice Hall version of "American history" as an example to help.The fourth part compares the reality of the history education teaching and textbook compilation of middle school in our country,and summarizes the enlightenment of the practice of infiltration of critical thinking ability in the textbook to the compilation of history education teaching and textbook.Totally,there are six parts.Firstly,the critical thinking ability to cultivate the goal of serialization;secondly,combined with historical facts,the overall arrangement of the critical thinking ability of the layout;thirdly,the historical learning value of the questioning and reflection into the history textbook;fourthly,to strengthen the history of textbooks in the school of law guidance,change "teaching" as "the book";fifthly,improve the problem design,rational selection,efficient questioning;sixthly,the use of interdisciplinary history curriculum construction vision.
