Research On Single Female Doctor's View On Mate Selection From The Perspective Of Feminism

With the development of higher education in China,the level of women's education is higher and higher,and the group of female doctoral students is growing gradually.They broke the traditional definition of society for women,have the courage to the pursuit of knowledge to improve their own quality,but social attention too focused on their spouse,and give them labeled "mating difficult",it makes the author want to explore the actual situation of the social hot issues behind.This study in the perspective of feminism,adhere to the "equality" and "respect"values,using the marriage market and hierarchy theory of needs,first of all,using the method of depth interview,interview screened 12 reading female doctoral students,understand them in mating motive,choose a spouse standard,mating behavior aspects such as concept of mating and true idea,found that female doctoral students state of mating motive is rational,even if the outside pressure is nothing more;The standards of mate selection show a"reality-oriented"trend,and they pay more attention to the moral and social conditions.As for the economic conditions,they will try the new channels of mate selection,but still focus on the traditional channels.Secondly,analysis from three aspects:social,family and individual factors that affect their spouse-selection view and mate selection,found that social transformation,mass media,tag,how generational differences,family intervention outside the power of positive or negative are indirectly affect female doctoral marriage concept,female doctoral students their own way of life and value judgment is the dominant factors of mate choice,their pursuit of freedom and space,to the "family" and "business" has a careful balance,think single is"nothing more"attitude,and to wait for a suitable person to keep positive and optimistic attitude.Finally,according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs model,in-depth analysis of female doctoral student in mate selection in the process of diversification demand,and demand for female doctoral students and problems existing in the current society,proposed from the perspective of social work,hope that through the way such as social advocacy and community publicity and education,give full play to the social worker advocate of the role and influence,to eliminate social tagging of female doctoral students,and set up the values of freedom,and equality in the whole society to respect the diversity of female doctoral student choice.
