Teacher research enjoys its popularity from the expectation of teacher subject development.However,teacher may not really own its subject identity under the control of strong power.Even though teacher research discourse is created by teacher himself or herself,it is more likely to be the mirror of complex power net.The power structure influencing teacher behind discourse and the reaction of teacher towards the structure is the focus of this research.The theory on the relationship between discourse and power is used as well as some tools of discourse analysis to analyze the teacher discourse material on teacher-research.The thesis is composed of foreword,main body of 5 chapters and conclusion.Foreword mainly introduce the origin,value and meaning,summary,research method and the advantage as well as disadvantage of this thesis.Chapter One focus on the concept including discourse,discourse analysis and teacher-research,illustrating their connotation and attribute.Chapter Two is about construction of theoretical foundation and analysis framework.Discourse theory of and analysis tool of Critical discourse analysis and James is applied in this section.Chapter Three put its emphasis on the target of analysis(teacher-research),discussing its features on place it happen,the one who do it and its orientation.Chapter Four,based on the theoretical foundation,practical framework and the features of target,starts the discourse analysis formally,using topic and inter-text tool to discover the underlying power construction behind teacher from topic,goal,theory and method they used in research discourse.Chapter Five is concerned about the response of teacher controlled by power on their self-concept,standpoint statement and action strategy with the help of social language tool.Conclusion summaries the whole viewpoint.
