With the promotion of the new geography curriculum, the geographical activity teaching is more and more significant in the geography teaching in senior high school.The geographical inquiry activity teaching in geography teaching is helpful to cultivate students' abilities to explore geography. The cultivation of geographical inquiry ability is an important concept in the whole high school.This paper uses the method of literature analysis, statistical analysis method, observation method, combined with the teaching design theory, Constructivism theory, Dewey's Pragmatism theory, analysing the types and characteristics of geographical inquiry activity teaching, combined with case analysis, this paper puts forward the instructional design strategy of the high school geography inquiry activity from two aspects of microcosmic and macroscopic view.And on this basis, the typical teaching cases are designed by combining the inquiry teaching method and the content of suitability.This paper is divided into the following 6 partsPart One. Introduction. It mainly discuss the research background, research significance, present situation both in domestic and international and research ideas.Part Two. The theory of Geography Inquiry Activity Teaching. This part discusses the connotation, the theoretical basis, the classification of geographical inquiry activities and the characteristics of geographical inquiry activity teaching. In the characteristics of the teaching of geographical inquiry activity, it also discusses the characteristics of the scene, teacher guides students, the teaching methods and teaching process and the importance of the process evaluation.Part Three. The case analysis and strategy of the teaching design of geography inquiry activity. This part puts forward the teaching strategy of high school geography inquiry activities from the macro to micro level.Part four. The teaching design of geography inquiry activity based on the teaching material analysis.This part discusses the suitable teaching design activities of geography based on people's education version of compulsory< 1>, and on this basis design a typical case with the combination of inquiry teaching method and content of suitability.Part five. Empirical research. Select the appropriate content, and in the author's internship school for verification, the results show that it is effective.Part six. Conclusion.Conclusion.Summarizing the basic conclusions of this study,as well as the characteristics and innovation of this study, analysis of the inadequacies of the study, and prospects for the future.
