Research On Social Work' Intervention Of Interpersonal Discomfort Of The Children From Single-parent Families

In recent years,the number of single-parent family has been in a growing trend,many problems about single-parent family are catching more and more attention from scholars.However,children of single-parent families,as minors and vulnerable groups,need more attention from the community.Children of single-parent families experienced their parents'divorce or untimely death which brought their family members missing also have the tendency of being more easily to be lonely and introverted,casing a variety of negative behavior,leads to their fear of the outside contacts,form interpersonal discomfort.The researcher investigated and interviewed the personal interaction of 22 children in single-parent families in X community of Nanjing by the way of utilizing Social Avoidance and Distress Scale.According to this,on one hand,we can investigate the existence of interpersonal discomfort about their relationship problems and specific performance on the other hand,we can deeply understand the hidden reason which caused the interpersonal discomfort.The data collected and analyzed of single-parent families from X community has showed that children almost have the symptom of interpersonal discomfort and the main symptom is showing various degrees of social avoidance tendencies and social distress.For this phenomenon,The researcher chose 6 children for further interview who come from single-parent families have interaction difficulties.The analysis shows that the main reasons have the following three points:first,family members absent causes the lack of personality;second,self-cognitive deviation causes inferiority;last,interpersonal contacts skills of missing causes social dilemma.On the base of the analysis in the abnormal behavior and reasons caused by the single-parent children in X community,we apply social learning theory and group dynamics theory,and under the theory of development mode,through "wen" and "I really of is good",and "spreading confidence of wings",and"conmunication no limit",and "etiquette small's got talent" and "tomorrow will better" as the theme of group activities.According to these activities,we help single-parent children get rid of interpersonal contacts dilemma and ease interpersonal discomfort.Results show that,through the use of specialized methods of work of the Panel,the interpersonal discomfort of single-parent children can improve their wrong self-perception,improve their interpersonal skills,enhanced interpersonal confidence.Through the assessment of the work of the group,group working methods promote the Group's personal growth as well as the overall growth of the group,which is a significant effect,and also confirmed the group work method in the aspect of effective relief.Group activities has the advantages of strong target,full participation and high efficiency,through the carry of interpersonal contacts theme group activities,help single parent families children build self-confidence,belonging sense,and release their negative mind in reasonable ways.These activities also help single-parent children form positive cognitive,and guide they learning social etiquette skills,which also have effective aspects on single parent families children helped protection work provides some reference and recommends in the near future.
