With the promulgation of the new curriculum standards in July 2011,a variety of new textbooks have been published.The new curriculum standard of "spiral rise" and the emphasis on "the cultivation of students'innovative ability" are adopted in the arrangement of the new textbooks.After six years, the teaching textbooks have been improved, but at the same time, there are some new problems appeared in the use of the new teaching textbooks. This paper takes the algebraic part of the textbooks published by Zhejiang Education Press (ZEP) and Jiangsu Phoenix Science and Technology Press (JPSTP) as an example, compares the advantages and disadvantages of the two editions of textbooks in the arrangement of the theory and practice from the two aspects,in order to provide some reference for the compilation and use of textbooks.The article is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the problem, the theoretical and practical significance of the research, the research methods and the research route.The second part is the literature review, which introduces the principles and characteristics of the comparative study of teaching textbooks at home and abroad, the third part is a detailed comparison and analysis of the arrangement of the two versions of algebraic part;the fourth part is the empirical research, combined with the theoretical analysis from the perspective of teachers and students to carry out the analysis of the two editions of the textbook to grasp the difference between the algebraic part of the questionnaire survey and test papers;the last part is the conclusion of the study and the suggestion for the teachers and textbook writers.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:in the new round of curriculum reform, the two editions of teaching materials are carried out in-depth study of the new curriculum standards, teaching textbooks in the preparation have an unique feature,the content is more reasonable, the teaching material structure is clearer, which creates opportunities for students to solve practical problems;the new textbook is recognized by most teachers,the two editions of teaching materials on the algebraic part of the layout of the advantages,but at the same time there are some problems,the connection between knowledge points is not natural, and the combination of theory and practice is not smooth,which need to be further improved in the future.Based on the examination of the real number of students,it was found that there was a significant difference in the mastery of the real number between two areas,suggested that Zhejiang version of teaching materials could arrange the real number unit in the seventh grade part ? or the eighth grade part ? .
