In recent years,with the successful bid for the international sport events,the sport service industry has been developed speedily.China pay more and more attention to the the development of China’s sport industry and the sport talent than before.In order to expand and promote China’s sports industry influence in the world,and cultivate more qualified talents of competitive sports,our country introduced several new plans to reform on sports talent cultivation.To match the development of talents and the demand of society,the sport college and university have been enact a serious of reforms of the sports majors’ English teaching methods.College or university students of sports major who needs lean English much more than before.In order to catch up with the development of society and the huge demand of sport talents.College or university students of sports major need to focus and make big progress in their comprehensive quality.As a compulsory course,to improve students’ comprehensive quality,to cultivate student’s cross-culture communication ability,College English is particularly important in the teaching process.In order to adapt to social and professional sports talented person’s demand,improve the students’ interest in learning of English,professional sports college English teaching reform is imperative.CBI(Content-based Instruction),the Based on the Content of teaching,is a teaching ideas combined by language and professional knowledge of subject.In recent years,the teaching concept used in professional English teaching practice and has gained remarkable results.Based on many teaching methods are derived from the CBI teaching theory,this paper USES the literature material method,experimental method,questionnaire survey and the interview method,project type flip classroom teaching method,for example,combined with the Shandong sports institute of college English teaching practice,this paper expounds the current development status of domestic and foreign teaching methods based on the theory of the CBI,this paper expounds the CBI teaching ideas from professional language classroom to the development of public foreign language classroom;Analysis the basic theory of the project-based flip teaching,comprehended the teaching goals and studied the teaching goals;Through the analysisof the design and conduct experiments under the CBI theory of project type flip classroom application in the practical teaching process and the experimental results;Investigating the sports college students in Shandong project type flip the classroom teaching methods based on the theory of the CBI recognition degree and satisfaction degree;Compared to traditional classroom English teaching and the students based on the project under the CBI theory type flip the interest of classroom similarities and differences.Teaching method based on CBI in college English teaching to meet the dual needs of professional sports learning and employment,student-centered teaching method,not only can let the students in the learning process is full of fun,to reduce the resistance for learning English,students can also help the students in the learning process set up good ability of self-study,enhancing the self-confidence of sports major knowledge and English language learning.Students in the experimental teaching,the ability have been improved significantly.English listening ability in the process of curriculum has made great progress,as a result of the audio video watching for many times,make the students’ listening ability has improved significantly;Compared with the traditional classroom English vocabulary reserves greatly increased;Adopted project type flip the class of classroom teaching,reading ability in a semester flip classroom learning constantly reading and research learning material data,reading ability is significantly higher than those who are taught by the traditional teaching method.Teachers in the teaching process more practical experience,for students to grasp the one step closer.Despite the CBI based teaching methods for teaching in the professional sports students is not comprehensive,but according to type flip classroom based on the project for a preliminary experiment research shows that the popularity of CBI based teaching method is worth for sure.
