A Study Of College Students Volunteer Service Under The Perspective Values

With the continuous development of society, volunteer service gradually becomes an important force to promote social progress. College students have especially become the main participants in volunteer service activities. Not only has it a beneficial effect on the work of moral education of universities,but it plays a major role on the civilization of the whole society harmony. Socialist core values are an important goal of ideological and political education and a brightly-colored banner of social moral construction. College students should focus on learning and set up in their daily life. Volunteer service provides an important platform for the cultivation and practice of socialist core values. It is beneficial to participate in volunteer service activities for college students to strengthen their consciousness of democracy and civilization harmonious concept from the national level value goal. It is beneficial to heighten their concept of freedom equality and justice from the social level value goal. It is beneficial to motivate their truth and innovation spirit and sense of community from the school level value goal. It is beneficial to cultivate their spirit of patriotism and professionalism and integrity virtue of kindness from the individual level value goal. As a result, volunteer service plays an important role for college students in the cultivation of values. However, there are some problems on volunteer service in terms of cultivating college student's values, because volunteer service in China started relatively late, and all aspects of the regulatory system needs to improve, and the voluntary organization is lack of the democratic concept and so on.This paper is combined closely with the volunteer service activities and the values cultivation of college students. And this paper is divided into three parts. The first part is made on the basis of related concepts about volunteer service of college students, and I will demonstrate volunteer service playing a vital role on four aspects of values cultivation of college students from the perspective of theory. The four aspects include national level, social level, school level and individual level. The second part based on statistics and analysis of questionnaire, through the value to investigate whether the volunteer service of college students to achieve the purpose of the value of education.And with the key point of beginning stages, intermediate stages and ending stages,explore the reasons that volunteer service doesn't cultivate some values of college students. The last part according to our actual conditions, refer and take foreign volunteer service experiences so as to point out the measures that promote comprehensively values cultivation of college students through the volunteer service.
