As the professional post which to transfer and transmit human civilization,teacher implements the function of educating.There are four stages of teachers' self-development,including non-professional-orientated,professional,specialized and specialization.Modern education focuses more on students than teachers,emphasizing the student-center but neglecting the feeling of teachers.In the process of practical teaching,more and more biology teachers who under the high job-pressure and low reward for a long time have appeared the different level problem of burn-out.A part of teachers lost professional passion,are disgusted with teaching even denied of self-value.Through learning and reviewing the related literature,the author realized the concept of professional burnout and its latest research progress.Our research aims to test the level of object's burnout,which uses the MBI-ES chart to investigate and takes a part of high school biology teachers in Hubei province as objects.Then we explore the related influence factor by the way of combining the self-made influence factor chart with interviewing teachers.Through analyzing the 218 valid questionnaires,our study result shows that the high school biology teachers in Hubei province who have a job burnout accounted for 80.7%are in a mild job burnout level.It exists significant different in terms of education level and the workload.Emotional exhaustion is most serious in the group of teacher who are married,undergraduate education level,36-40 years old,11-15 teaching age,professional titles 1,grade 2.Depersonalization are more serious among men and group whose salary less than 2001.It exists no significant different in terms of low self-fulfillment.Questionnaire and interview results show that the influence factors mainly involve in several aspects.Several problem relatively accepted by subjects is high life consumption level,low social recognition,difficult title selecting,too much amount of class time,less chance for service training,low students' interest,the difficult,hard teaching management and fast knowledge update.Based on the above research result,the author puts forward four suggestions to alleviate or eliminate job burnout to some extent:improving teacher's sense of social identification,and providing various way of service training and perfecting the system of title selection,creating correct public opinion guide and strengthening self adjusting of teachers themselves.
