As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,China's educational development is also embarking on a new journey.As the primary resources of education,teachers naturally face new missions and challenges.The building of a strong country demands excellent teacher resources.Over the years,the Party and the state have made a series of decisions concerning faculty team building from an overall perspective and a strategic height,which highlights the extreme importance of teachers' work.However,it is worth noting that the invisible killer of teacher burnout in reality is affecting or even destroying teachers' work and the cause of education.This research is based on the author's three years of work experience in high school and related researches on teachers' burnout both at home and abroad.Firstly,using the MBI-ES burnout scale of Maslach and the self-compiled questionnaires of influencing factors,an empirical survey is conducted on history teachers from 12 high schools in Xin yang area.Based on data analysis of 174 valid questionnaires collected,the results show that the overall degree of professional burnout of high school history teachers in Xinyang area is not serious,but the tendency of burnout is clear.In order to grasp the status of burnout in depth,the differences in demographic related variables such as gender,marriage and education are analyzed in three dimensions of burnout.Secondly,discussing the related factors affecting the burnout of high school history teachers from the perspectives of prejudice,occupation and students;Finally,from the national title reform,teacher personal adjustment,micro-practice level,it puts forward some suggestions for preventing and alleviating the burnout of high school history teachers.As a supplement to the survey,in-depth interviews have been conducted with frontline history teachers and school administrators to provide a more realistic understanding of the teachers' working status and inner feelings.
