In recent years,the state has issued a series of policy documents in which put more emphasis on practical teaching to improve the talents quality.Local Normal Universities,as the main force in cultivating the future teachers,have made some explorations in practical teaching.However,pre-service students are still confronting many realistic problems,such as lack of practical ability and comprehensive quality,as well as severe employment situation.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to investigate the current situation of practical teaching in order to reform the practical teaching further,improve the quality of teacher education and promote teachers' professional development.This paper is composed of six parts.The first part is the introduction which mainly introduces the research background,the purpose and significance of the research,review of relevant research and the definition of the concept.The second part is the theoretical basis of practical teaching,with the help of some theoretical knowledge,such as philosophy,psychology,sociology and so on.The third part is the research design,which describes the research content,research object,research methods,research tools and research thought.The fourth part is the investigation of current situation of the practical teaching of the Local Normal University's pre-service students.This part firstly describes implementation of the questionnaire and interview,and then analyzes the current situation of the practical teaching of teacher education training majors in three Local Normal Universities from the aspects of the whole and the difference.The fifth part is the analysis of the problems and reasons of the practical teaching of teacher education training majors in the Local Normal Universities.This part mainly summarizes the problems existing in the practical teaching and analyzes the deep reasons influencing the effectiveness of the practical teaching.The sixth part is countermeasures mainly for the problems presented in the fifth part,aiming to improve the current situation of practical teaching as well as the practical ability and comprehensivequality of pre-service students.
