Among all of the Chinese language teaching methods in elementary school of South Korea,there is a very common form of teaching called after school class.This kind of class is mainly focused on the students’ interests,and the main content of teaching is vocabulary,combined with simple sentence learning.In order to have a good command of this kind of teaching method,the teacher has to know how to teach those vocabularies.And whether the lively and uncontrolled class can be continued or not depends on the teacher’s game design for the class,so game-teaching approach plays an important part in the after school class teaching.In this text,the author shows the game teaching approach in teaching nouns,adjectives and verbs in accordance with its own teaching experiences in Boseong county,South Korea.With those experiences and the specific vocabulary teaching practice,the author puts forward some specific demands for the teachers,the teaching objects and the teaching environments.
