Along with China and South Korea of friendly exchanges, Korean pay more and more attention to learning Chinese .And more and more Korean to learn Chinese. In South Korea most of the primary school the Chinese class is the after school class. The most important thing is that the Chinese teachers have to know how to improve students' interest in learning Chinese. So it is necessary to integrate the Chinese folk culture to the Chinese-teaching. The purpose of this paper is learn about the primary school students' interest in Chinese folk culture and the class participation by the survey of investigating some elementary school students who studies Chinese in Jeollanam-do Haenam gun. In addition, this paper will sumarize the content,methods and ways of Chinese folk culture into the Chinese class at the primary school in south Korea according to my experience .And this paper will put forward some suggestions for other Chinese classes. As for the methodology of this study on this subject,the thesis has been adopting some basic methods: the theoretic analysis,case analysis,induction and analogy. This paper will form several aspects to explore it:The importance of The Chinese folk culture on the Chinese class in the primary school; do some research into the situation of Chinese folk culture teaching ;The teaching strategies of Chinese folk culture on the primary school in South Korea . By this research the author hope to offer some reference and consulting for Chinese culture teaching on the primary school in Korea.
