Design And Application Research Of Micro-courses Based On WeChat

As rapid development of network technologies and common use of mobile devices,a new medium,WeChat,has guided a revolution of learning methods.People are entering Micro-Learning age,in order to adapt the new learning medium and method in such age,Micro-Courses resources which make knowledge point as the subject and teaching videos as major carrier have caught everyone's eye.This research pays attention to the design and application of Micro-Courses with the support of WeChat platform.As a new learning resources in micro-age,micro-courses have took shape in the application on network platform,so some scholars applied micro-courses' resources to teaching practice by the support of WeChat platform.However,the design about resources and application is still in early stages,needing more attention and urgent research work.Through understanding University students ' use condition of WeChat and its educational application,this research design and realize WeChat learning platform by combining features of WeChat public platform and micro-courses.Meantime proposing micro-courses design model based on WeChat after making reference to many literature related to micro-courses design.With the support of the suggested micro-courses design model,the author take ?VB Programming?course in Southwest University of Science and Technology as an example to develop a series of micro-courses and apply them to assist a teaching practice.Experimental results show that micro-courses based on WeChat can assist teaching activities,arising learners ' learning interest ? learning scores and self-learning ability.Experimenters expressed their satisfaction with the platform and micro-courses and showed wishes to further using this new teaching method.The research is intended to provide reference for micro-courses design?development and application with the support of WeChat,which has important meanings for the revolution of learning method and supplementary teaching method.
