A Study On Jiangxi's Coordinated Development Of Population, Land, Economic Under The Urbanization Progressing

Since the reform and opening to the outside world,the process of urbanization in China has been noticeably accelerated.However,with the rapid development of urbanization,the problems existing in the process of urbanization have become increasingly prominent,and many of the exposing problems are related to population,land and economy urbanization.This kind of uncoordinated situation has become the bottleneck of the further development of urbanization in China,which needs to be solved urgently.Jiangxi Province as an economically underdeveloped area,the development of urbanization is relatively backward and now we are in the key climbing period of promoting urbanization.Therefore,the study on the coordinated development of population,land and economy in Jiangxi Province is meaningful.It is of great significance to accurately grasp the current development of urbanization in Jiangxi Province and guide the development of urbanization in the future.This paper refers to the relevant research,taking Jiangxi Province as the research area.Firstly,establishes the comprehensive evaluation index system of population,land,economic urbanization.Calculates the development level of population,land and economic urbanization subsystem and the comprehensive development level of urbanization in Jiangxi Province from 2000 to 2014,and analyzes the change trend.Secondly,the paper uses the urbanization internal coordination index and integrated coordinated development index model to analyze the coordinated development relationship between population,land and economy urbanization in Jiangxi Province from 2000 to 2014.Finally,the PVAR model is used to study the interaction mechanism between urbanization subsystems in Jiangxi Province.The results show that:(1)From 2000 to 2014,the level of comprehensive urbanization increased steadily and entered to a stable development period in Jiangxi Province.Population,land,and economic urbanization levels have different degrees of improvement.Among them,land urbanization developed the fastest,population urbanization level steadily followed,economic urbanization the slowest.As for the 11 cities in Jiangxi Province,the level of urbanization has improved in various degree in recent years,but the development of urbanization in different regions are various,Nanchang's urbanization level is much higher than other regions.The gap of population and economic urbanization level between different regions narrows gradually,while thegap of the land urbanization level shows an increasing trend.(2)From 2000 to 2014,the comprehensive and coordinated development level of urbanization in Jiangxi province has grown rapidly,which has developed from the serious maladjustment to the high quality of coordination.As for the 11 cities in Jiangxi Province,the overall level of coordinated development of urbanization maintains an increasing trend.In 2000,the 11 cities are in an imbalance level of urbanization;while in 2014,transition model is the main type of comprehensive urbanization coordinated development,the highest level of comprehensive coordinated development among the 11 cities is Nanchang,followed by Xinyu City,which are in coordinative model.In addition,the comprehensive coordinative level of urbanization in Jiangxi's 11 cities presents an obvious difference,which shows a rule that the level is higher in the middle area of Jiangxi than the south part of Jiangxi.(3)According to Granger causality test,the change of population and land urbanization causes economic urbanization,and land urbanization is the reason which causes urbanization of population.Impulse response and variance analysis have shown that the economic urbanization not only promotes their own changes,but also promotes the changes of land urbanization and population urbanization;land urbanization would impact economic urbanization and population urbanization in a long term;population urbanization barely influences subsystems.It shows that the development of urbanization system in Jiangxi province is mainly from the support of economic urbanization.In the long run,the promoting role of land urbanization could not be ignored.Through the above research conclusion,we can find the existing problems in the development of urbanization in Jiangxi province from two levels: as for the provincial level,land urbanization developed faster than population urbanization and economic urbanization.As for the prefecture-level cities,there are obvious differences between different cities in the development of land urbanization,the land urbanization level in other regions are relatively low except Nanchang,the provincial capital of Jiangxi,besides,obvious differences exiting between cities in the comprehensive coordination development level of urbanization.Therefore,we are putting forward to four suggestions: first,the innovation-driven,industrial-develop strategy,which promotes the rational distribution of industrial space;second,economical and intensive use of land,finding the potential use of land;third,accelerating the introduction and registration of the population,which promotes the equalization of social publicservices;fourth,based on the center of the city,playing cities radiating capacity.
