With the development of science and technology and the progress of society,the demand for high-quality talents has become more and more urgent in all walks of life,and it has become the primary task of education to train high-quality personnel.Mathematics education is an important aspect of personnel training.In mathematics basic education,the mathematical concept is the cornerstone of all basic theories.The concept of mathematics plays an extremely important role in the process of students' understanding and mastering the basic principles and laws of mathematics.Therefore,the teaching of mathematical concepts has become the top priority of mathematics basic education.However,there are still many problems in the teaching and learning of mathematics at this stage.In the teaching of mathematical concepts,many teachers cannot be fully aware of the high degree of abstraction and generalization of mathematical conception,lacking comprehensive understanding of the concept system of middle school mathematics,or their method of concept teaching is too single to guide the students to learn mathematical conception correctly and duly.In the study of mathematical concepts,due to the characteristics of the age structure of middle school students,the abstract thinking ability is in the stage of gradual development.When students learn the concept of mathematics,there are understanding problems such as inaccurate,unclear,not firm and inflexible,which leads to the deviation on the mathematical theorem.The concept of mechanical memory or rigid phenomenon is widespread.Over time,this will seriously affect the ability of students to analyze and solve problems,also cause obstacles to the study of other disciplines.Therefore,how to better solve these problems is an important and urgent subject placed in front of educational researchers.Using modern educational research methods,taking the junior middle school mathematics teaching as the breakthrough point,the author presented the teaching and learning situation of mathematics concept in junior middle school,sought the crux of the problems from the two aspects of teachers and students,analyzed the reasons for these problems,and explored the method to solve the problems.According to the mathematical concept of teaching theory and practice,the author put forward a five-in-one mathematical concept teaching methods of “enlightenment,display,internalization,abstraction,application".The full paper is divided into six parts.In the first part,it describes introduction.The background,purpose and significance of the research and the research status of mathematics concept teaching are expounded.In the second part,it describes contents and methods of the study.It introduces the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview,and the contents and objects of the research.In the third part,it describes research on mathematical concept teaching in junior middle school.This part discusses the meaning,characteristics,learning teaching methods of mathematical concepts.In the fourth part,it describes investigation result and analysis of the present situation of mathematical concept teaching in junior middle school.It introduces the questionnaire survey results and the interview results of mathematical concept teaching in junior middle school.The investigation data are sorted out and analyzed statistically,the problems existing in the teaching and learning of mathematics in junior middle school are clarified,and the problems are analyzed in depth.In the fifth part,it describes five-in-one mathematical concept teaching method of "enlightenment,display,internalization,abstraction,application".Based on the findings of the survey,combined with the characteristics of the cognitive structure of junior middle school students and the teaching principles of mathematical concepts,the author puts forward a new method for teaching the concept of mathematics in junior middle school,namely "enlightenment,display,internalization,abstraction and application".Case designs are also given.In the sixth part,it describes summary and prospect.
