With frequent communicative activities,oral communication becomes an indispensable part of people's living,and people pay more and more attention to oral communication ability.Since the new curriculum reform,Chinese oral communication has become an important part of Chinese teaching.Following "Chinese course standard of full-time compulsory education","Chinese curriculum standard of the ordinary high school" has put forward new requirements for the students' ability of oral communication,which emphasizes on cultivating students' ability of listening,expression and response and pays attention to civilized manners and language training during the period of communication.In order to further implement the goal of improving students' oral ability,the Ministry of Education issued a document called "classic reading",which aims to improve the students' oral expression ability through the classic reading activities in 2014;"the core development of Chinese students literacy" put forward the six qualities of students' development,one of which is the social participation-responsibility,requiring students to treat different cultures with an open mind,and actively participate in cultural exchange in 2016.The new teaching concept put forward new requirements to teachers.In the process of new curriculum reform,under the guidance of the new teaching concept,many teachers have made some achievements in the teaching of students' communicative competence,but there are some problems in the teaching.In this paper,I understood the status of oral communication teaching from teachers' understanding of oral communication,teaching arrangement and teaching situation and the status of students' oral communication learning from the oral communication knowledge,language skills,favourite communicative topics,teaching methods,evaluation methods and so on through lectures,questionnaires and interviews in Qin'an No.1 High School during the internship.At the same time,interviews was used as the supplementary materials.Through the investigation and data analysis,teachers' level exists following problems: unclear oral communication teaching idea,narrow range of oral communication teaching topics,incomplete oral communication teaching evaluation and so on.The students' level exists following problems: language barrier,non-linguistic barrier,social psychological barrier,etc.Through the analysis of the reasons,there are some reasons for teachers,such as neglecting the importance of oral communication,insufficient teaching time,single teaching content,etc.There are many reasons for the students,such as lacking of understanding of oral communication,feeble participation in the classroom participation,weak communication foundation.In order to solve the existing problems,I put forward the problems existing in the teaching of oral communication into every link in the process of communication based on the theory of pragmatics.I follow the cooperative principle,politeness principle and face principle and propose corresponding countermeasures from the communicative object,topic,method,effect and so on.The purpose of this paper is to provide some reference for the teaching of oral communication in senior high school,so as to improve the students' communicative competence.
