The ideological and political course in middle school is the main front and the main channel of middle schools moral education.It is not only to guide the middle school students to establish a scientific world outlook and outlook on life and the values but also it is the compulsory courses of practicing the socialist core values.In addition,the ideological and political course in middle school is an important way to cultivate constructors and successors to socialist course.However,the rural middle schools of western mountainous areas have not ideal for a long time.These reasons are the low level of economic development and the insufficient investment in education and the lack of teaching resources and other reasons.Therefore,it is necessary to study the teaching of ideological and political course in the rural middle schools in the western mountainous areas for its pertinence and effectiveness.In this paper,the breakthrough point is the status of the teaching of ideological and political course in rural middle schools in western mountainous areas,the reference is the relevant research domestic and abroad.Then this thesis to take the connotation,nature and task of the teaching of ideological and political course in the middle schools as the theoretical basis,to conduct empirical research the current situation of ideological and political teaching in rural middle school of Xingwen County in Sichuan Province in the form of a questionnaire,to analyze the current situation of the teaching of ideological and political course in rural middle schools in western mountainous areas,to focus on researching the problems and causes of the teaching of ideological and political course in the rural middle schools in western mountainous areas,and putting forward the countermeasures.It is expected that these countermeasures can provide some guidance for the rural students in the western mountainous areas to study the ideological and political course in middle school and provide some references for the teaching of front-line political teachers in rural middle schools in western mountainous areas,and provide some reference for the reform and development of the teaching of ideological and political course in the rural middle schools in the western mountainous areas.
