In the late Qing dynasty to early Republic of China,which is critical period to the transformation of feudal education turn to modern education,it is also what the transformation of incoming,the revitalization of Chinese modern about physical education,physical education as a foreign goodwith the rising of thoughts "the eastward transmission of western sciences",the sport be incorporated into the school education courses,physical education textbook with the push of historical development.The author takes the physical education textbooks of primary and secondary schools as the object of the research,which are typical of the epoch from the late Qing dynasty to the early period of Republic of China(1902-1929),analyzes its text,summarize the characteristics of physical education textbook during this period,in order to enrich physical education textbook research,provide theoretical for study of future textbooks of physical education.The paper takes the physical education textbooks of primary and secondary schools as the object of the research,which are typical of the epoch from the late Qing dynasty to the early period of Republic of China(1902-1929),there are The late Qing
