The late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China were a very critical period in Chinese history.During this period,Chinese society was impacted unprecedentedly,and all aspects of society changed dramatically.The physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools also experienced a history from scratch to development.The sports curriculum in primary and middle schools in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China is the beginning of the development history of physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools in China.It has great significance for the development of physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools.In this paper,using the method of literature,historical research method and expert interviews and other research methods,development of primary school PE curriculum review at the end of the Qing Dynasty period,to explore the law of development,to find out the influence factors of sports curriculum development in primary school during this period and the development of modern physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools in China's enlightenment,in order to improve the course of study rich in history and physical education in primary and secondary schools,and provide reference for China's primary and secondary school physical education curriculum reform.Through the research,said: at the end of the Qing Dynasty,a period of primary and middle school physical education curriculum has experienced the bud(1840-1902),built in the early stage(1903-1911),development period(1912-1921)and the new development period(1922-1924)four periods of development process;development of Sports Curriculum in primary and secondary schools two,the late Qing Period: is the guiding ideology of school physical education by the Army national sports thought to natural sports idea change,the two is to develop the goals of physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools by the attention of the society to pay attention to students' physical and mental needs to change,three is to change the course of school physical education by the Japanese military drill to the American competitive sports,four is in the form of physical education by the curriculum organization a single track system to change,five is the course towards the western sports curriculum from passive to active learning of primary and middle school sports;three,the end of the Qing Dynasty The three major factors of sports curriculum development in primary and middle schools: the nature of society transformation,different social ideological change,the transformation of education;School PE courses in four,the end of the Qing Dynasty on the development of modern physical education curriculum in primary and secondary schools in China: the inspiration of development of sports curriculum in primary and secondary schools should not only meet the demand of social development,but also conform to the characteristics of physical and mental development of students;not only to achieve a variety of educational functions of sports,also highlights the essential characteristics of sports;should be good at learning the advanced educational experience of other countries,but also with China's basic national conditions.
