Research On The Formation Process Of Class Culture

Among the current researches on class cultures, the majority of them focus on the theoretical interpretation while the minority of them are on its generating processes.Therefore,this study,based on the class culture generating processes,goes deep into the actual situations of class culture generating and participate in various types of cultural activities to get multi-angle understanding of the generating processes of class cultures,by the use of classroom observation methods. The analysis of the generating processes of class cultures shows that these processes are the grouping processes of class,the processes of value integration between class subjects' and objects, and the important stage of students' socialization processes. And to generate the class culture with community as the main characteristics is the ideal and pursuit of teachers and students.This study mainly includes the following contents:The introduction part describes the origin, purposes, significance and present situations of this study, and also defines some relevant concepts. Through the literature review of domestic and oversea researches on class culture and classroom observation,we can find the deficiencies in the precious researches so as to establish the innovation and entry point of this study.The first part is the research design. It first elaborates the research methods and research processes, then introduces the basic situations of case study, and analyzes the basic processes of class culture generation by the procedural analysis frame.The second part contains the analysis and results. On the basis of cases, this study analyzes the nature of the generation processes of class culture from different aspects,which reveal that the generating processes of class cultures are the grouping processes of class, the processes of value integration between class subjects and objects, and the important stage of students' socialization processes. In addition, a number of factors influencing the above processes are analyzed in this part.The third part gives the research suggestions. According to the problems in the process of class culture generation, the value conflicts between cultural subjects and and objects and the problems in students' socialization processes, some corresponding suggestions are put forward: one is to cultivate the head teachers' cultural awareness; the second is to emphasize the renewal of head teachers' cultural concepts; the third is that the head teachers should consciously coordinate the cultural opposite orientations in class.The fourth part shows the conclusion, that is,the ideal outlook of the class culture generation. It proposes to use the community concepts of class culture generation to replace the dominant class culture modeling concepts.
