As an important studying content in the field of the second language acquisition research, classroom observation and classroom observation scale gradually received extensive attention of the authorities and teachers of English subject. In recent years, the trend of the research of classroom observation and the application of scales in the teaching and researching activities in the primary schools of the Qingdao region grow hotter and hotter. Classroom observation has an extremely important significance on improving students’ classroom learning, promoting teachers’ professional development and forming the school’s cooperation culture.Based on the theories about classroom observation, researches in classroom observing with the main purpose of through classroom observation, the both sides, the classroom observation teacher and teaching teacher in some presupposition are concerned about a topic for discussion, analysis and can communicate with each other to improve teaching behavior and improve the level of teaching were done. And then the observation scales are made, the observation records are carried out, the scientific analysis of observation data is done, and the observed results are reported. During this process, the classroom observation scales are designed and presented which can serve the classroom better. And thus the classroom observation scales achieve the generic scales.In order to observe the effectiveness of the teaching design, and find the answers to the research questions, teachers in Qingdao No.2 primary school and I held five meetings and discussed many times about classroom observation, from the classroom observation dimension, the determination of the observation points, the development and production of the classroom observation scale and its modification according to the teaching practice. So under the guidance of experts, two observation dimensions were identified: the validity of the language support structures and the effectiveness of students’ participation in activities. A classroom observation scale development seminar was held, and finally again on the concept of the classroom observation, we made many changes. Ultimately the two observation scales which met our research question and are easy to observe the operation were determined. With the question of how to properly build a pragmatic real context to improve pragmatic competence, the observation point of the real effective classroom language supports according to the teachers’ teaching design was identified and this observation scale was formed. In this scale, the observers from each link of the classroom teaching observed and recorded the language support form, and determined whether a set of language supports were real and effective, and then analysis and evaluation were carried on. Based on students’ learning advantages analysis, the diversity of learning advantage supports is set up, to improve learning the research problem, and set the observation scale of the student-based learning tasks advantage effect.The classroom observation groups preceded the teaching link, warming up, and task presentation, the development of new knowledge, consolidation practice, extension, summary and homework with reasonable division of labor, detailed records to view class from different observation points. Then they completed the detailed report of the classroom observation in which valuable teaching suggestions were put forward. The teachers in classroom teaching did self- reflection through classroom observation. Again they had another classes and these classes reflected the changes and the growth, the harvest that the teacher received in the process of classroom observation.In this study, the three classroom observcation scales were modified and revised and formed in practice. Thus it achieved another goal of this study, that is, to provide better classroom observation scales and promte their usage in practice and achieve their universality.
