In September 2014,the State issued "Opinions on the Implementation of the Examination and Admissions System". Subsequently,a series of supporting documents of College Entrance Examination (abbreviation CEE) reform were issued. A new round of CEE reform officially entered the historical stage in Chinese education. The reform significantly changed the student evaluation methods, examination subjects set, test content and form, etc. For high school chemistry teaching, this reform is a development opportunity as well as a challenge of unprecedented difficulties. The main purpose of this article is, firstly, recognize the impact of the new scheme on the pilot area of chemistry teaching; secondly, investigate the problems caused during the pilot stage of the CEE reform; lastly, summarize the advantages and disadvantages of high school chemistry teaching in the new reform phase and make suggestions.The biggest modification of this CEE reform is the the implementation of the election system, which forces the practice of class-selection-system in high school teaching. In our country, the class-selection-system was initially implemented to make up for the shortcomings of the traditional class teaching system which gives less consideration of the differences of students, in order to promote the sustainable development and the personality development of students. At present,class-selection-system was largely implemented in the pilot area. However, due to the immaturity of the overall operation of the program and the lack of reference model,various forms were implemented in different schools.Based on the policy changes of the new CEE reform, such as examination election,the shift mode teaching mode, examination form and other aspects, this article analyzes the influence both on students and high school chemistry teaching. This paper choose Zhuji Middle School in Zhejiang Province as an example, and investigates the current situation about chemistry teaching in by investigating students and interviewing teachers.It was found that there are some problems in the teaching of high school chemistry in the new CEE pilot stage, such as the evaluation from teachers and students on the new CEE reform policy is not high, choosing different subjects may cause teacher's need imbalance, the school's countermeasures to shift system teaching are not complete,teachers and students are not suited to the new examination time and etc.According to the situation, in the pilot stage of the new CEE program, teachers and schools should seize the opportunity, improve their ability and advantages, solve the outstanding problems in chemistry teaching in combination with the CEE reform, so as to meet the challenge.
