Instructional Activity Design And Practice Research On The Freshman Seminar Supportted With The Support Of WeChat Enterprise

Central China Normal University has launched Freshman Seminar to carry out "the undergraduate teaching quality and teaching reform project of the university". The Freshman Seminar is the important move to cultivating innovative talents through curriculum construction, emboding the importance of freshman education, and it pays more attention to the reform of teaching methods to adapt to the development and trend of the times. At present,many researchers have applied the WeChat or WeChat subscription number in education and achieved good teaching results, because it can make full use of the learner’s fragmentation time and the convenience of this platform also expand the learning space for learners. What’s more, WeChat Enterprise is integrated by multiple applications, with the unlimited jurisdiction of pushing information, whoes function is more powerful compared with the service number and subscription number, but its application in education is still in its early stage. And, The author has the honor to participate in the Freshman Seminar to make WeChat Enterprise integrate into the course’s teaching. The significance of this research is not only make it to be a tool, the more important is maked it to be a bridge between teachers and students, expanding the communication channels between teachers and students,for teaching activities can be carried out immediately.The research builds the WeChat Enterprise platform, based on the analysis of the characteristics and curriculum objectives of the freshman’ seminar course, with depth analysis of learning needs and learning content, Combined with the characteristics of 32 freshmen of college of education information technology, designs and implements teaching activities, discovers the problems and improves these problems, evaluates the teaching effect finally. During the study, The author applies the methods of literature analysis,investigation, observation and action research, and the main research work from the following six aspects: firstly, reading and the analyzing of domestic and foreign relative literatures; second,analyzing the nature of curriculum,curriculum objectives, learning needs, learning content, the characteristics of learners and teaching environment; third,analyzing WeChat Enterprise’s function and its function on learning support, adhering the design principles, combined with the characteristics and needs of freshman seminar,buildding the WeChat Enterprise platform; fourth, according to the basic idea of teaching activity design,designing the teaching activity of the freshman seminar course under the support of WeChat Enterprise, discovering the problems and improving these problems;fifth, evaluating the teaching effect; sixth, Summarizing the research work and finding out the shortage and limitation.
