Under the background of Internet plus,information technology hardware infrastructure has been greatly improved in almost all domestic primary and secondary schools.However,due to the influence of the traditional education mode and the tendency of valuing construction and neglecting practical application,the high investment in the information facility construction has not produced the corresponding satisfactory benefits.This research relies on our joint training base--Yueyang Institute of Education Sciences,taking five urban junior middle schools for research objects.To explore the current situation,causes of the problem,and the countermeasures for the information technology education in the middle school of Yueyang city,we carried out the research,by means of questionnaire,observation and interview,from the following four aspects: the school infrastructure and construction of digital teaching resources;teachers' information technology application ability and information literacy;students' information literacy;information technology and curriculum integration.The study finds out that,although the information construction in the city junior middle schools is ahead of rural schools in Yueyang,there exist four outstanding problems: 1)There are scarce norms and inadequate experience in information technology education and low utilization ratio of multimedia equipment;the offer of information technology course is far from satisfaction.2)The school network conditions and digital teaching resources are limited;the school network does not access to education metropolitan area network;with digital resources and platforms scattered,it can not meet teachers' needs.3)Traditional teacher allocation model limits the role which information technology teacher should play.,and teachers' training lacks focalization and classification.4)The effect of integration of information technology and subject course is imperfect;teachers value the use of multimedia tools but ignore the improvement of teaching methods;teachers pay too much attention to material elements but not the factor of human.For the existing problems,we make the following proposals from the perspective of management:First,schools should enhance ideas of education informatization and reinforce their sense of emergency.Secondly,schools should reform the system and mechanism,bringing security and vitality to the information technology education.Thirdly,schools should strengthen the construction of network and digital resources,improving the efficiency of resource utilization.Fourthly,innovate teacher management model,Optimize the allocation of information technology teachers.Fifthly,schools should strengthen the management of digital environment at school,promoting educational informatization.
