Based on interviews,surveys, and data processing, research was empirically to describe the left-behind junior high students by their parents overseas self identity and mental health of relationships. Explore parenthood on the influence mechanism of self-identity and effect mechanism of self-identity on mental health.Left-behind junior high students by their parents overseaswith different family structure, with the left-behind and un-left-behind students have different life choices. At the same time, the international situation are changing, these students are confronted with new challenges. Teachers and guardians must aware of the positive factors and helpful for health of these students body and mind development.After further analysis by HLM, parenthood to the influence of self identity in left-behind junior high students by their parents overseas and left-behind junior high students and un-left-behind junior high students,had three different influence mechanism. Within the effect mechanism of self identity on mental health, left-behind junior high students by their parents overseas model shows that coping style play complete mediation effect. Left-behind junior high students model shows that coping style have not mediation effect, there are only have direct effect by self identityon mental health. Then un-left-behind junior high students model shows that coping style have partial mediation effect.In summary, in the future on junior school students psychological counseling, the mentee should pay more attention to group differences,grade, and gender differences as impact factors to refer the psychological counseling.
