In order to understand the rural junior middle school students which come from Si Chuan province in the aspects of the left-behind situation,the gender role condition and the mental health status,and then analyze the influences of the left-behind on the students' mental health level and the gender role types to put forward the intervening measures of the mental health on the basis of deeply dissecting the regulating effects of the gender role on the junior middle school students' mental health.Therefore,this paper adopted the simple sampling method,the questionnaire of the left-behind junior middle school students' basic situation which is written by the author,the junior middle school students' mental health scale,Bem sex role inventory to conduct the cross-sectional survey for 600 junior middle school students in Si Chuan province.At the same time,according to the research contents,this paper adopted the descriptive statistics analysis,Pearson correlation analysis,the back testing,the covariance analysis and the confirmatory factor analysis.The results as following: 1?there were significant differences between boys and girls' gender role development during rural junior high school.Big proportion of the male gender role undifferentiated,while girls in bisexual,unisexual,undifferentiated on uniform distribution;the percentageof boy's feminine in gender roles is higher,male proportion is low,while the female gender role consistency is better;Along with the higher grade,boys undifferentiated,feminine proportion increase,girls changes small.2? left-behind junior middle school students' mental health.Father out lower middle life happiness and willing to learn;Out left-behind junior middle school students and parents are too frequently or less parent-child interaction will also reduce the left-behind junior middle school students' life happiness.3? gender roles all dimensions for junior middle school students' psychological health with different adjustment.For a double gender left-behind junior middle school students of life happiness,willing to learn,interpersonal harmony,calm tests,and the overall status of mental health has a positive role;Masculine calm improve obviously the left-behind junior middle school students examination;Nancy is effect on left-behind junior middle school students emotional stability has significantly increased.But on the whole,and a double gender and masculine on the left-behind junior middle school students' mental health are more postive.
