The mental health of left-behind children has always been the hot spot of the domain. Previous studies showed that the mental health of adolescent individuals was influenced by their self-personality, which was also necessary for those left-behind junior middle school students to face their left-behind life healthily. As the junior school students were mainly restrained in their schools, their attitude towards school could directly influence their life satisfaction and mental health,but there are few researches related to it now.The current study adopted questionnaire survey method and mainly explored the relationships among self-supporting personality, school satisfaction and mental health of the left-behind middle school students. Based on the results, management strategies were proposed. The results showed that:(1)On the left-behind middle school students' self-supporting personality: It is found that the overall level was low; Girls got significantly higher scores than boys;there was no significant difference in grade; left-behind middle school students got significantly lower scores than other people.(2) In the level of the left-behinds' satisfaction toward school : It showed that the overall level of school satisfaction was low; girls got significantly higher scores than boys. There was no significant correlation in grade.The level of the left-behind students' school satisfaction was lower than non-left-behinds'.(3) In mental health aspect, to some extent, the left-behind students had anxiety tendency in the different dimensions, learning anxiety was more significant. There was no significant correlation about the mental health among students of different genders. Significant divergence existed on different dimensions The level of the left-behind students' mental health was lower than that of non-left-behind students.(4) Based on the analysis of the left-behind students' self-supporting personality,school satisfaction and mental health.,self-supporting personality was positively related to school satisfaction.Self-supporting personality was negatively correlated with mental health.School satisfaction was negatively correlated with mental health.We concluded that self-supporting personality could predict mental health remarkably and school satisfaction played a mediating effect role.Based on the results of the study, four strategies of teaching management was proposed:(1) Management and educational ideas should be changed and good atmosphere of school should be built.(2)Parents and school correlated mechanism should be built up and management of left behinds' students need to be enhanced.(3)Establish perfect mental health education.(4) Enhance their self-management ability.
