Reading is an active process of knowledge acquisition,language lesson content in the persistence and development must depend on the extracurricular reading,it has to do with extracurricular reading content which constitute the whole organic learning of Chinese language.High school as the main position of education have an obligation to creat the conditions to do work of extracurricular reading.Under the background of new curriculum reform of Chinese teaching is no longer just about the teaching of textbook knowledge,but also a knowledge breadth and depth of teaching,also is not just memorization and comprehension ability of students,but also for its generalizability,evaluation of appreciation and application on the analysis of the ability,which put forward new and higher requirements.But judging from the current reality,our Chinese current situation in extracurricular reading is worried,therefore,this article selects the students in our school and teachers as the research object,trying to form such as interviews and questionnaires to know the real condition of extracurricular reading in our school,in the concrete analysis reading interest,reading comprehension and reading purpose,reading time,ways and habits,interest preference method material procurement,parents and teachers attitude,guiding demand,the hardware facilities and so on which are helpful content s to find the reasons about extracurricular reading such as insufficient extracurricular time and indifference of our school extracurricular reading.In order to attract students,parents,teachers,school and society from all walks of life to pay attentions to the extracurricular reading.And on the basis of effectively carrying out after-class reading science,I try to put forward some practical measures and Suggestions:optimize in-class reading way,strengthening the reading guidance,to be gradient reading plan,make sure to read the content and form of diversity,diversity of reading teaching evaluation,create loose good reading atmosphere...
