Reading,as a behavior of human learning activities,has attracted more and more attention during the development of world education from compulsory education to lifelong education.The "Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards(2011Edition)" requires that great attention should be paid to cultivating junior high school students to develop strong reading ability and increase the amount of reading.It can be seen from this that modern education attaches great importance to reading.This article uses the No.1 Middle School of Jiaxian County,Yulin City as a research sample to investigate the current situation of Chinese extracurricular reading activities.On the basis of sorting out the survey data,conducting in-depth analysis,finding problems,and exploring effective strategies,so as to provide help to promote the smooth implementation of extracurricular reading teaching in junior middle school Chinese.This article is composed of three parts.The introduction part explains the background and significance of this research,that is,under the background of improving Chinese literacy and curriculum standards for reading,the author believes that this research has certain theoretical and practical significance.Next,the related research results are sorted out and summarized,and the selection of research methods is introduced.The main part includes three chapters.The first chapter is mainly based on the definition of core concepts such as reading and extracurricular reading,and gives a detailed introduction to the constructivist learning theory,learning motivation theory,and recent development area theory applicable to Chinese extracurricular reading,and analyzes the junior high school students' extracurricular reading of Chinese Meaning.The second chapter mainly combines the situation of the No.1 Middle School in Jiaxian County,Yulin City,designs different questionnaires for students and teachers and conducts questionnaire surveys.According to the questionnaire survey,it analyzes the problems existing in the extracurricular reading of Chinese in Jiaxian No.1 Middle School,Yulin City.By issuing a questionnaire survey and analyzing the results of the survey,the author found that the extracurricular reading of Chinese in Jiaxian No.1Middle School in Yulin City was not well developed.The problems at the student level include insufficient knowledge of extracurricular reading of Chinese,small amount of extracurricular reading of Chinese,and poor extracurricular reading habits of Chinese.The problems at the teacher level include the lack of advanced theories,the lack of teacher guidance,and the lack of teacher guidance.The problems at the school,family and social levels are mainly reflected in the neglect of creating a reading atmosphere.In the students' extracurricular reading,there is a lack of a reasonable evaluation mechanism.In response to the problem,the author deeply analyzed the cause.The third chapter proposes targeted solutions based on the problems existing in Chinese extracurricular reading.Students should correctly understand the importance of extracurricular reading of Chinese,increase the amount of extracurricular reading of Chinese,and develop good reading habits.Teachers should strengthen the theoretical study of Chinese extracurricular reading,strengthen the guidance of students' extracurricular reading of Chinese,and strengthen the guidance of students' extracurricular reading of Chinese.Schools,families,and society should make efforts to optimize the reading environment and create a reading atmosphere.The establishment of a scientific evaluation mechanism should be considered from the diversification of evaluation subjects,the diversification of evaluation content,and the diversification of evaluation standards.The conclusion part gives a brief summary of the paper,and points out the deficiencies and improvements of this research.
