Chinese extracurricular reading is an extension of Chinese classroom content,an important source for acquiring extensive knowledge,and an important part of Chinese reading content.Chinese extracurricular reading plays an important role in the development of students' learning ability,the training of thinking logic and the improvement of Chinese literacy.Students correctly understand the importance of extracurricular reading of Chinese and master the correct reading methods,which will increase the amount of knowledge reserves and continuously broaden students' horizons.Under the influence of the new curriculum reform,school teachers are increasingly aware of the important role of extracurricular reading in the overall development of students.S Middle School of YJ City has a high-quality team of teachers.The school formulates teaching plans in strict accordance with the provisions and policies promulgated by the Ministry of Education.Teachers use corresponding teaching methods flexibly to carry out teaching activities.Under the requirements and suggestions of the new curriculum standards,the school adopts a variety of advanced methods to provide specific and targeted guidance to students' extracurricular reading.Students have developed a keen interest in extracurricular reading,and their reading ability has been significantly improved.Extracurricular reading has achieved remarkable results,but there are also some shortcomings.This article uses interview method,questionnaire survey method and other research methods to investigate and study the Chinese extracurricular reading of S Middle School of YJ City.Combining the actual situation of Chinese reading implementation,this paper explores effective methods and strategies to make the extracurricular reading of S Middle School of YJ City.The effect is more significant.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the research purpose and significance of the thesis,research status,scope and methods,and the definition of main concepts.The main content of the second chapter is the requirements and suggestions of the new curriculum standards for junior high school students' Chinese extracurricular reading.The third chapter is about the investigation status of Chinese extracurricular reading in S Middle School of YJ City.The first is to investigate the basic situation of S Middle School of YJ City,that is,the situation of schools,teachers and students.The second is the current situation of school Chinese extracurricular reading,that is,the importance of extracurricular reading of Chinese,the content of extracurricular reading of Chinese,the survey of extracurricular reading,the investigation of extracurricular reading guidance and the purpose of reading.The fourth chapter is about the achievements and deficiencies that the school has achieved in Chinese extracurricular reading.In terms of effectiveness,the students of S Middle School of YJ City have a higher interest in Chinese text reading and have good reading habits.The school and teachers pay attention to students' personalized reading,and their reading ability is steadily improving.Of course,there are still some shortcomings.It is more influenced by traditional concepts,and there are fewer reading methods.The reading way of students is relatively single,and the reading inside and outside the class is not coherent.The fifth chapter contains suggestions for extracurricular reading,and proposes suggestions for improvement of the current situation of extracurricular reading in S Middle School of YJ City,mainly to change traditional and inherent concepts,diverse reading methods,broaden reading channels,and strengthen the continuity between inside and outside of class.This paper analyzes the current situation of Chinese extracurricular reading in S Middle School of YJ City,and hopes to play a certain role in the teaching of Chinese extracurricular reading in S Middle School of YJ City.
