Under the background of information technology innovation, Micro lessons arise and develop very quickly, play a more important role in teaching. Although there are a lot of related research about theories and application prospects of Micro lessons, there is little research on the relationship of Micro lessons applying in teaching practice and students'learning effects, especially on the influence of Micro lessons on pupils' English autonomous learning. Cultivating the consciousness and the abilities of pupils'autonomous learning is the need of social development. Cultivating pupils' autonomous learning abilities is one of the key in English teaching. Taking sixth grade students as experimental sub.jects, through the teaching experiment of a whole school year, this paper focus on the influence of Micro lessons on pupils' English autonomous learning.After preliminary understanding of English learning situation of sixth grade students in the school,the author studied some related theories about Micro lessons and autonomous learning. Then the author designed questionnaire corresponding to the research. During the experiment, adopting the experimental method, questionnaire survey,comparative analysis and other research methods, the author completed the questionnaire and statistics, collected experimental data before and after the test, and carried on the detailed comparative data analysis from different point of view . Based on the experimental results, the author knew the English level of sixth grade students in the school. Then the author survey on differences of pupils' English learning autonomy before and after applying Micro lessons in primary school English teaching. The author put forward some suggestions and strategies on how to apply Micro lessons into English teaching to improve the students' interests and enthusiasm, and how to cultivate consciousness and abilities of pupils' English autonomous learning.Finally, the author hopes this study can provoke further discussion and thinking, and provide some reference and guidance for primary school English teachers on application of Micro lessons into teaching to improve teaching efficiency and cultivate students'autonomous learning abilities.
