The Research On Mating Localization Of The Only-child

The only-child population was a special generation of the society in the last two decades of the last century in our country.Along with the special only-child generation grew up,gradually enter the marriage period,their mating and marriage problems become the focus of attention.Because of the mating and marriage playing an important role in the process of social interaction,intermarriage circle become the focus of attention by sociologists.The primarily object of the study is the intermarriage circle of a rural community,and relatively fewer focus on the wider range of city community,especially the only-child family which was on the influence of Population and Family Planning.According to the statistics,the demographers present an expanding intermarriage circle to us.Due to the particularity of the only-child,however,they dependent on their parents on the structure and psychology,and it becomes a great influence upon their preference on the region of marriage.The attachment between the only-child and parents is more profound,so the parents would like their child to choose a local mate instead of an out of town mate.This phenomenon can easily cause a narrow mating circle and show a trend of localization.Based on the research of the urban one-child family,a reginal preference of mating localization is appeared in the process of our society.And this preference will shrink the radius of intermarriage circle,make it more localization.According to this research,we can know the standard and mechanism of mate selection more better.Thus more targeted suggestions will be put forward to solve the marriage problem of the one-child,and more appropriate explanation and prediction will be made to the intermarriage circle problem.Even though the one-child get married,their geographical distance to their parents is very short,it can solve the pension problem and reduce the pressure on the government in the future.The J community in Wuhan is selected to be studied,and the research of the trend of localization will make a difference on the scope of intermarriage circle.Analyzing the reason of the phenomenon from structure and psychological view,in the structure view,the development of socialization and intergenerational exchange relationship will go back;in psychological view,the effect of attachment and identity will be intensified.
