The intermarriage is an important evaluation index for the extent to which two different social groups have converged. The intermarriage status of China’s migrant agricultural population and urban residents is also an important dimension to measure the citizenization process of the migrant agricultural population in China’s New-type urbanization.Based on the investigation data collected by the research group of "research on social management and services to promote the social integration of migrant workers in small and medium-sized cities under the background of the loosen of household registration restrictions",a major philosophical and social science project of the ministry of education, this paper studied the influence of migrant workers’ migrat work behavior on their intermarriage circle.Referring to previous studies, the intermarriage circle is mainly operated from the two dimensions of "social distance" and "geographical distance".The intermarriage circle measured according to "social distance" is called the hierarchical intermarriage circle, and the intermarriage circle measured according to "geographical distance" is called the geographical intermarriage circle.According to the hierarchical intermarriage circle, the author divides the intermarriage objects into three categories: "farmers","migrant workers" and "urban residents”.According to the geographical intermarriage circle, the author divides the intermarriage objects into five categories: " same home in same country "," different home in same country "," same city "," same province " and" other provinces”.In terms of the overall trend, the intermarriage rate of the migrant agricultural population and urban residents will continue to increase with the intergenerational shift, and the cross-regional intermarriage rate of the migrant agricultural population will also continue to increase with the intergenerational shift, indicating that the intermarriage circle of the migrant agricultural population will continue to expand with the intergenerational shift. The research on the influence of migrating work behavior on the intermarriage circle of the migrant agricultural population finds that: firstly, the "migrating work before marriage" behavior has a negative influence on the intermarriage circle of the migrant agricultural population, that is,the intermarriage circle of the migrant agricultural population that chooses migrating work will become involution. On the one hand, the migrant agricultural population does not have advantage in the urban marriage market, and the marriage squeeze still exists. On the other hand, agricultural migrants who go out for work get more capital and have an advantage in their hometown marriage market. In addition,it also indicates that the degree of citizenization of the floating agricultural population in the city is low,and it is unable to carry out marriage assimilation in the local area.Secondly,"migrant work time" has no significant impact on the intermarriage circle, agricultural migrants are not more likely to intermarry with urban residents just because of they spend more time working before marriage.Thirdly, the interaction between " migrating work before marriage" and the generation indicates that there is an interaction effect between the migrating work before marriage experience and the generation, among the agricultural migrant population with the same migrating work before marriage experience,The later a person is born, the more likely they are to marry urban residents, and the more likely they are to marry across regions. That is to say,the migrant workers born in different generations, the degree of the influence of their migrating work behavior on the intermarriage circle is also different, and the involution degree of the intermarriage circle is smaller for the migrant workers born later.Fourth, the involution of intermarriage circles of migrant workers is not regulated by gender, that is,there is no significant difference in the involution degree of intermarriage circles between male and female migrant workers. These results mean that,as the country concentrate all forces to promote the citizenization of floating agricultural migrant population and the increase of urban inclusiveness to migrant workers, agricultural floating migrant population will improve the marriage integration with urban residents during the process of migrant work.
