The local art resources are an important part of the development of art curriculum resources. Each native Chinese will have their own local feelings. Talking about art, Mr Wu Guanzhong said:"The native is an advantage, but limited knowledge and scanty information is defect." Obviously, this advantage is inevitable in the art composition or personality development. In the basic stage of art education, integrating the local culture, folk art and other local art resources into course, it is not only helping the healthy development of personality of students, but also an important way to improve and rich the art curriculum constantly.This article is based on the Wenzhou rice sculpture art resources as a breakthrough point, discussing the related problems of local art curriculum resources development and utilization, and providing references for the development of other regions or other forms of art resources. This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter describes the content and significance of this study. The second chapter, on the basis of the direction of research, analyses and reorganizes the relevant research. The third chapter discusses the theoretical basis for the development of local art resources in Wenzhou. The fourth chapter introduces the research on the development of rice sculpture resources in Wenzhou. In the fifth chapter, it discusses the application of rice sculpture resources in Wenzhou, and presents the relevant teaching cases.
