Language as an important subject to carry forward Chinese traditional culture, and build up the of humanities students. We should start the first step from the course resources, extending and expanding teachers’ teaching contents and students’ learning content, as well as reflecting the comprehensive of language subject. And the culture of "Guilin Stone Sculpture" is a special carrier which is a way to display the Chinese traditional culture, but also has long been neglected as a curriculum resources with local cultural characteristics. If developed and utilized, it can not only conducive to the cultural heritage of local knowledge, but also help to promote the professional development of teachers, forming the school characteristics. What’s more, it cab also raise students’ local cultural identity. All these can reach the purpose of promoting the culture and language’s literacy from the multiple ways.This paper mainly focus on the development and utilization of the Guilin Stone Sculpture cultural as local languages course resources, and launches series of inquiry, including the description on the relationship between the Guilin Stone Sculpture culture and the Chinese Course Resources, inquiry the deeper significance, raise a series of ideas and operation of the program with the theoretical basis and methods for reference, but also to make up for the lack of adaptability of the national curriculum at the local study. At last, the development of courses resources on the Guilin Stone Sculpture also provides certain references to other places. There are six parts of the paper:The first part is the introduction, mainly about the origin of study, research status, research methods and the base definitions about Chinese Course Resources and Stone Sculpture Culture. In this part, the paper indicates that as a part of Chinese Course resourse, the inadequate research of the Stone Sculpture Culture during the current status,which meaned that this project has some innovative and research value for relative study and research.In the second part, the paper describes the development and utilization of GuiLin Stone Sculpture as a kind of course resource to use in the Chinese Learning. This part make the conclusion from the five aspects of humanities of students, the local cultural identity, language learning space, learning methods and teachers’ innovate teaching methods.The third part focuses on the analysis of Guilin Stone Sculpture’s connotation and characteristic, with the help of forms summarizing the categorization of Guilin Stone Sculpture, providing a more intuitive understanding, and being the based theory of the utilization of the fifth part.The fourth part makes the feasibility analysis on the development and utilization of Guilin Stone Sculpture culture as a resource used in the Chinese Course from the bases of objective aspect and the realistic aspect. Especially, Guilin Stone Sculpture culture is the seat of the natural and cultural treasure house of knowledge, and new Courses Education reform provides a good platform for the development of new course resources, and also has geographical advantages for Guilin local students.The fifth part is the core part of this paper, the author based on the five aspects from practical experience as well as the existing educational research and literature analysis, Curriculum Structure compiled, diverse teaching materials, development of professional teachersand of campus’Stone Sculpture construction, put forward the developing and utilizing of Guilin Stone Sculpture culture as a material used in the Chinese Language Course. Particularly in terms of diversification of teaching, it is mainly to make specific studies on ancient poetry and prose reading teaching, writing and teaching calligraphy teaching, joined the case studies during the analysis, in order to operate the program more particular and intuitive.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect. In the paper, it simply summarizes the contents, and hopes that through this research, the study can be effectively used in education after the practice, resulting in personal experiences on Language Education Course development and utilizate the resources to be the foundation to the following of language teaching, but also calls on the education sector to respond to the new course development, to pay more attention to the development and utilization of local course resources, and to remind people to protect the treasure Guilin Stone Sculpture.
