Throughout the world education teaching reform,the improvement of teachers' quality has always been the core of education reform.Based on the framework of TALIS(international teaching and learning research)project,this study investigates the current situation,needs and influencing factors of teachers' professional development in primary and secondary schools in Linfen.Through the presentation of the professional development of primary and secondary school teachers in Linfen,this paper reveals the problems existing in the professional development of teachers and the underlying causes of the problems.On this basis,this paper discusses the orientation,goal and path of the professional development of primary and secondary school teachers in Linfen,and puts forward some reasonable suggestions.This study sorted out the relevant theories of teacher professional development,and integrated the current situation of teacher professional development at home and abroad.On this basis,this article mainly uses the questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method to investigate the current situation of the professional development of primary and secondary school teachers in Linfen.The questionnaire content of this paper is divided into three dimensions and 17 factors: Teachers' professional development(including teacher training,teacher training,professional development,teaching and research activities,the scope of professional development activities of the capital investment and the influence of teacher professional development,teacher evaluation and feedback disorder)(including the subject of evaluation and the way the evaluation,influence and evaluation of school identity,school atmosphere)and job satisfaction(school facilities and management,the atmosphere of the school,teachers' job satisfaction,teaching confidence and Leadership).The questionnaire is based on 18 counties in Shanxi City,Linfen Province,with a total of 1028 teachers.The reliability of the questionnaire was tested by SPSS17.0.The results showed that the internal consistency coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.7-1.0,which indicated that the internal consistency reliability of the questionnaire was good.According to the data analysis,there are some problems in the professional development of primary and secondary school teachers in Linfen:1.Teachers' professional development needs to be improved.Most teachers are not able to take an active part in training;The content of the training is not comprehensive enough,and the importance of teaching research is not enough.2.There are two internal and external factors that influence teachers' professional development activities.External factors are the teachers' work pressure and insufficient support from schools and principals,and teachers spend more time at school,leading teachers to have no time and no chance to participate in training activities.The internal factor is the attitude of teachers to participate in professional development activities.And 47% of the teachers are not satisfied with their salary and can not get the financial support to participate in professional activities,resulting in their enthusiasm to participate in activities is not high.There may be some personal factors of teachers themselves,which makes their professional development of the road appeared stagnation;3.Linfen primary and secondary school teachers have a higher job satisfaction,full of motivation for professional development.According to the data,the evaluation and feedback of teachers in Linfen primary and secondary school teachers are significantly related to the professional development of teachers.The perfect teacher evaluation and feedback system can positively affect the level of teachers' professional development.There is a significant correlation between the school atmosphere and job satisfaction and the professional development of teachers.Good school atmosphere and positive work attitude can affect the level of teachers' professional development.According to the survey data,more than 80% of the teachers still choose to be a teacher and more than 90% of teachers think they are very motivated,full of expectations and hope for the school,at the same time,the school also provides a guarantee for teachers' professional development.However,a small number of teachers believe that their work pressure is particularly large,and the school's salary is not very fair and so on,which affects their professional development.On the whole,teachers' professional development is full of power.
