Teachers' professional development is an eternal research field and practical subject.However,from the current research on teachers' professional development,the discussion of obstructive factors is relatively lacking.By means of interview and case study,this paper investigates the different types of primary schools in Donggang District of Rizhao City,and analyzes and summarizes the present situation and factors hindering the professional development of primary school mathematics teachers in combination with the characteristics of mathematics subjects.Put forward the corresponding countermeasure and suggestion.The research shows that the main factors hindering the professional development of primary school mathematics teachers are: teachers' short of professional learning ability,lack of mathematical knowledge,low sense of teaching efficacy and low level of teaching reflection;Based on the above understanding,this paper suggests that teachers should explore their inner drive and develop mathematical thinking by strengthening their professional study.Make professional development plan and implement action research,enhance the consciousness of independent development,schools should be good at giving play to their own unique advantages,rationally arrange the work,perfect the school-based research system,and build up the teachers' professional development together.The administrative department of education should perfect the training system,strengthen the pertinence and effectiveness of teacher training,set up the incentive mechanism to arouse the enthusiasm of teachers' professional development,and perfect the guarantee system.
