Mathematics,which trains human thinking,is a utility tool used by other subjects,which draws people highly attention.It includes the basic knowledge and thinking methods of mathematics.However,mathematical education in middle school is the elementary stage of mathematics learned and studied by people,which has gained a lot of achievements,especially in the basic knowledge of mathematics.It plays an important part of senior high school and college entrance examination.And it is almost the sole determinant of success or failure of evaluating mathematical education for school.But mathematical thinking methods as the soul of mathematics are always ignored by teachers and students.In mathematical education,to teach mathematical thinking methods embodies the function of mathematical education,which has great effect on students to find mathematical rules and to form thinking model.With the new curriculum reform advancing,mathematical thinking methods as the quintessence of mathematical knowledge come into people's mind.And to have teaching research draws people's great attention,which seems very important for them.Although they have achieved some theoretical achievements,they do not give good expression to students in the process of practical teaching.Yan'an City is located in the northern part of Shaanxi Province.There exists great difference in the level of educational culture between Yan'an City and developed area.Therefore,it is necessary to have a deeply searching inquiry.to the theoretical research of mathematical thinking methods and the teaching practical situations in Yan'an City.The author adopts the literature method,the questionnaire method and the case analysis method to have this study.Expounding some related concepts about mathematical thinking methods as the theoretical foundation through literature.Aiming to realize the situation of mathematical teaching in Yan'an City and find problems and some corresponding countermeasures,the author has questionnaire to some teachers and students in several representative schools,and has analysis to students' test paper in different stage.Demonstrating the process of implementation of mathematical thinking methods through analyzing teaching case which applies mathematical thinking methods.At last,the author starts with a specific mathematics lesson to analyze its implement method and procedure in each part,hoping to enhance the effect of classroom teaching and students' autonomous learning ability.
