Mathematics education should attach great importance to students' experience gained before,making students experience the process of abstracting mathematical problems from actual background,building mathematical model,seeking the results and solving the problems.The Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education in 2011 treats enhancing students' ability of finding,posing,analyzing and solving problems as one of the general requirements of mathematical study.Documentary research,questionnaire research,interview research,test method qualitative method and action research are applied in this study.There are three main problems in the study: firstly,start with paper and pencil test to students and interview to teachers in JKY elementary school,in order to understand the level of students' ability to solve mathematical problems and the current situation of carrying out problem-solving teaching;secondly,analyze the theory basis of problem-solving teaching,then explore teaching mode and principle to elementary mathematical problem-solving teaching under the guidance of four theories;finally,form teaching team with six teachers to carry out school-based research of problem-solving teaching and put forward the mode of problem-solving teaching which is suitable for JKY elementary school in the basis of discussion to research' effect.This study has two conclusions.The first conclusion is that the average score to ability test of problem-solving is 35.21 points(total score of 60 points,time of 60minutes)and teachers are aspired to carry out school-based research to change the status that they know little about problem-solving teaching.After five months' research,the average score to ability test of problem-solving increases to 42.95 points.In the meantime,teachers enhance the sense of problem-solving teaching and find out a teaching mode to JKY elementary school.The main process of this mode are four: presenting problem which includes three stages of appearing problem situation,guiding students to ask questions and help students to assure objective,solving problem which includes three links of guiding students to observe and guess,organizing students to discuss or experiment and help students to sum up,applying knowledge including giving new problem situations,establishing mathematical model and knowledge development and learning to reflection which includes three stages of generalizing knowledge structure,summing up methods to solve problems and summarizing experience.The preliminary results have been achieved in school-based research.
