With the constant penetration of traditional culture,courses popularizing traditional culture knowledge have also been provided at elementary and secondary schools.Among all courses,calligraphy is an important component that can not be neglected,and the Opinion on Calligraphy Education in Elementary and Secondary Schools issued by the Ministry of Education has helped it to open a new phase.The calligraphy culture is extensive and profound,and requires constant learning and comprehension.During the enlightenment period,attention should be paid to the cultivation of interest and the guidance on learning method.More importantly,learners should feel the charm of calligraphy and cultivate physical and mental health through practicing,an idea also held by calligraphy educators in the past dynasties.During internship,the author has understood that many primary schools in Nanchong City have started calligraphy course as well as second calligraphy classroom,in order to enrich students' cultural activities on campus.In order to better understand the implementation of calligraphy at primary school classrooms,the author has taken the internship destination,China West Normal University Primary School(hereinafter referred to as CWNU Primary School)as the example and conducted investigation.The investigation shows that,CWNU Primary School emphasizes students' writing,but there are many aspects to be improved for the second calligraphy classroom.With questions in mind,the author has referred to materials related to the development of second classroom,and learnt that it is a teaching method closely linked to the pace of the Times.It is closely linked to life practices,and demonstrates high exploration potential as one of the methods to fulfill core accomplishments.However,these teaching activities are made on the basis of the first calligraphy classroom.Without basic learning at the first classroom,the second classroom concentrated on practice and application can not be implemented smoothly.The author has connected the second classroom with the studied major of calligraphy,and summarized the characteristics and significance of primary school second calligraphy classroom.The author has actively explored teaching activities suitable for second calligraphy classroom,made effective exploration and practices over the teaching means and methods at primary school calligraphy classroom,and designed teaching activities that flexibly integrate calligraphy cultural knowledge with other disciplines,real life and cultural school activities.The aim is to communicate calligraphy culture to primary school students through the teaching method of secondcalligraphy classroom,to nurture them with calligraphy culture as a child and to expand the future scope for them to use calligraphy.
